Deep in the DNA: Mical Teja secures first Road March win

A favorite for the season became the favorite for the road as Mical Teja’s DNA won the 2024 Road March title.
Teja, whose real name is Mical Williams, secured 341 plays over Bunji Garlin’s 225 plays for his song, Carnival Contract.
The announcement was made by Trinidad and Tobago Unified Calypsonians’ Organisation (TUCO) President, Ainsley King in a media conference on Wednesday after Trinidad Carnival.
